IsraAID leaders Global CEO  Yotam Polizer and Chief Development & Communications Officer Tamar Kosky Lazarus will be guests at breakfast in Sydney sponsored by the New South Wales Jewish Board of Deputies and Stand Up.

JewishCare will host the breakfast and is open to the community.

IsraAID is Israel’s leading non-governmental humanitarian aid agency, bringing Israeli know-how to crisis-affected communities all around the world. Since its founding in 2001, the organisation has provided emergency relief services and implemented sustainable development programs in more than 60 countries.

IsraAID is committed to being one of the first responders to a disaster and then staying for the long haul of recovery to work with the community towards a stronger, more resilient future. They coordinate large-scale relief distributions, support community-wide public health initiatives, help local governments build systems to deal with the mental health effects of crises, ensure sustainable access to safe water, deliver child protection and women’s empowerment programs, and much more.

Yotam, as Global CEO of IsraAID, oversees the organisation’s global operations, strategy, and partnerships. Yotam is the recent recipient of the prestigious 2023 Charles Bronfman Prize, an annual award presented to a humanitarian whose work, informed by Jewish values, has significantly impacted the world.

Yotam will address the topic of “Building Bridges Through Global Humanitarian Aid”.

Join us for this special briefing to deepen our understanding of the depth and breadth of IsraAID’s vital work in times of crisis.
