IDF eliminates senior Hamas commander – IDF striking Southern Lebanon

The IDF reported that Saturday night in the Gaza Strip its fighter jets killed Bilal al-Kedra, the commander of the Nakhaba force in the South Khan Yunis battalion of the Hamas terrorist organization.

The IDF said he was responsible for the murderous raids on Kibbutz Nirim and Kibbutz Nir Oz. In addition, other operatives in the terrorist organizations Hamas and the Palestinian Islamic Jihad were eliminated.

In addition, during the night, the IDF attacked over a hundred military targets in the Gaza City neighbourhoods of Zeytun, Khan Yunis and West Jablia, along with targets that harm the capabilities of the terrorist organization Hamas such as military headquarters and compounds, dozens of launchers, anti-tank posts and observation posts. Military headquarters of the Palestinian Islamic Jihad terrorist organization were also destroyed.

The IDF also destroyed various infrastructures of the security mechanisms of the terrorist organization Hamas and that were are part of the organization’s governance system, both in routine and in emergencies. Many of the people who belong to these infrastructures actively participate in fighting against the IDF.

A preliminary report was received of a shooting at the moshav (agricultural cooperative) of Shatula. The IDF said the details are under investigation. Shatula is located on the border with Lebanon at Israel’s northernmost point at the top of “Finger of the Galilee.”

Following reports of Lebanese fire on the Israeli community of Shtula, the Israel Defense Forces is striking targets in southern Lebanon. One Israeli reported killed.
