Sydney’s JNF Jerusalem Shaliach Yossi Eshed together with his wife Idit has hosted a special dinner with the UAE Ambassador to Australia Abdulla Al Subousi.

Also attending were Geoff and Debbie Levy, Russel and Carole Pillemer, and Leon and Simona Kamenev.
During the intimate dinner, that took place last week just after the beginning of the ceasefire in Gaza following the Guardian Of The Walls operation, Yossi thanked the Ambassador both as an Israeli and a JNF Shaliach for the support UAE shows towards Israel.
During the night, the Ambassador was very friendly and open and spoke with all attendees about the connection with the Jewish community and Israel and potential partnerships both with Australia and Israel.
The Ambassador also told everybody about his interest and passion about religious spirituality and Zohar books, which he keeps in his personal library.
