J-Junction supporters Maurie and Vivien Stang hosted a social afternoon in their home at which David and Karen Brodaty proudly showed Zara off to guests and other participants in the match-making program.

Spokesperson Michelle Lewis told J-Wire: “Zara, born a year ago,  will always hold a special place in J-Junction’s history. David and Karen are by no means the first couple to marry as a result of the service…but Zara is the first baby.”

In 2010, five couples who met through j-junction married  and another eight have become engaged. Baby number two was born in May and number three is expected early in 2011. J-junction was launched in 2006.
