ECAJ congratulates Australia Day honorees

The Executive Council of Australia Jewry has extended its warmest congratulations to all of the recipients of Australia Day honours for their exemplary service to this country.

We particularly wish to commend the 34 members of the Jewish community who have been recognised, including Her Excellency the Honourable Linda Marion Dessau who has been made a Companion in the General Division of the Order of Australia (AC) for eminent service to the people of Victoria.

We are immensely proud of all of their achievements. May they go from strength to strength.
