No mention of the riveting author of The Unravelling Emma Sky….. her book short listed for the Samuel Johnson award for non fiction. After listening to her on brief appearances in the media I was sure she must’ve had Jewish roots and didn’t need to stand to be corrected. A missed opportunity for those who missed her, but not too late to meet her through her book, [two bought and paid for with no kick-backs in case anyone is wondering]……..
    An exceptional woman.

      Hi Lynne,

According to The Times Of Israel Emma was born to a Jewish father who she never knew. Nevertheless after graduating from high school she volunteered to work on a kibbutz to search for her identity. If you type in Google is Emma Sky Jewish you’ll find out more. I did in fact snap her.
I identified over 30 Jewish authors participating at the Writers Festival.
I also managed to snap one of the founding modern Feminists Susie Orbach. Alas not Gloria Steinem
