The North Shore Jewish Community Centre will open its doors for community use for afternoon and evening services today.

The spiritual head of CHabad House of the North Shore Rabbi  Nochum Shapiro told J-Wire: “We will celebrate with a Friday Night Live highlighting the undecided recent election with a theme of Ballot, Burgers and Beer.”

The new Shule has been fitted out with 350 seats, a bima and Ark. Rabbi Shapiro added: “I expect our chazan for tonight, Rabbi Smuly Feldman, will have a congregation of 400 as I can assume we will have many children enjoying the first service in the Kehilah’s new home.
