The brainchild of video producer Steve Yarrow, Club BB has started its life by hosting a New Year’s Eve dinner dance.

Yarrow told J-Wire: “The concept of holding a New Year’s Eve dinner dance for the  middle aged, was born from my dissatisfaction with going to places where, the music wasn’t right, where we didn’t have many friends with us, or where it was yet again boring BBQ’s where we would eat and talk all night, then the fizzer at the end. There’s a group of us that like to dance and have fun. I made a decision to try our own Jewish event, with the right music for our age group, a set up like crown, in a basic hall, a video screen incorporated with bands featuring in our younger days, and to top it off, a live feed to the Sydney fireworks. We organised Kosher food, and supplied drink, providing the right atmosphere to create a fun filled night.”

I am proud of what we achieved, with the quality, and style of the function.”
Yarrow plans to create new events for the middle-aged in search of old-fashioned fun.
