The Tel Aviv-Yafo City Hall was lit last night with the Magen David Adom symbol a red Star of David.

The Tel Aviv-Yafo Municipality was responsible for the gesture as a token of gratitude and appreciation for the workers and volunteers of the Magen David Adom organization.

A spokesperson for the municipality said: “The MDA continues to work day and night to save lives and combat the spread of the coronavirus.”

MDA Director General Eli Bin said: “It is exciting to see the Magen David Adom symbol illuminated on the Tel Aviv-Yaffo building as a sign of recognition and appreciation for the organization’s work, especially during this period. MDA employees and volunteers make days and night to meet Israeli citizens in the most professional and dedicated way and there is no doubt that this gesture pleases them and gives them strength to continue to contribute. “
