Last week, 35-yr-old Rosen took a walk around the grounds of the resort around midnight. At some point he fell and unable to lift himself back up, spent the night where he lay. He was found around 7am the next morning by a passerby who then contacted the relevant authorities.

Airlifted to the Alfred hospital, Mr Rosen was listed as ‘in critical condition’ and passed away yesterday from the severity of his injuries.

In a statement Victorian police said “the incident is not being treated as suspicious.”

Funeral details will be announced on the Melbourne Chevra Kadisha website.
