Sydney’s young mums and mums-to-be spent an evening at the movies seeing the hit comedy “What To Expect When You’re Expecting” and raising funds for Ezra , an Israeli charity which assists mothers and their newborn babies across Israel.

Guests met at Set Bar in Westfield Bondi Junction where tasty treats and a Smooch frozen yoghurt station set the tone for a girls-only night out. A huge raffle with prizes from Marshmellow, Lulu Bell Skincare,  Mee & Moo, Keedo amoungst many other great brands were up for grabs and helped pull in some much needed funds for the charity.

Ezra was founded in Israel in 1924 by Australian born Rose Slutskin and over the years has helped thousands of newborn babies in Israel regardless of their religion. The charity supports 32 baby clinics in Jerusalem with everyday essentials like cots, prams, nappies and formula and also purchases life saving equipment for maternity wards across the country.

“Ezra Sydney has a new young division run by volunteer committee members and we’re passionate about continuing Rose’s legacy” said Carly Shamgar, Ezra Sydney volunteer.  “All money raised goes directly to Israel to be put to immediate use.” she added.
