Three Federal Court judges in Perth have reserved their decision in the matter of 89-yr-old Charles Zentai’s extradition to Hungary to face questioning over the 1944 death of Budapest youth Peter Balazs.

Zentai, who arrived in Australia 1950 is being sought for questioning by Hungarian authorities. Balazs was hauled from a tram in Budapest and dragged to a nearby army barracks where he was beaten to death in front of other prisoners.

Last year a single judge ruled that the decision to extradite Zentai was an error. The Federal Govrnment is appealing that decision.
