Overnight, the Israel Air Force completed several extensive strikes on military targets of the Iranian regime in western Iran.

During the strikes, dozens of surface-to-surface missile storage and launch infrastructure were hit.

In addition, surface-to-air missile launchers and UAV storage sites were struck in western Iran.

Israeli Prime Minister Benjamin Netanyahu urged the Iranian people to seize what he called a historic opportunity to topple the Islamic Republic, saying its end is near. “A light has been lit—carry it to freedom,” he told London-based Iran International on Monday, calling this “the hour of your freedom.”

Netanyahu framed Israel’s military campaign as not only a defence against Iran’s nuclear and missile threats, but also a chance for Iranians to rise up. “These dictators fear you even more than they fear us,” he said. The Prime Minister vowed Israel would continue targeting Iran’s military infrastructure until its threat is neutralised.

All operations at the Haifa Bay oil refinery have been shut down after an overnight Iranian missile strike killed three people and caused severe damage.

The refinery’s power plant was heavily hit, leading to a full halt across the facility and its subsidiaries. The Bazan Group, which owns the refinery, is working with the Israel Electric Company to restore electricity.

The facility has been targeted by Hezbollah on several occasions. It has also been criticised for pollution and safety risks. In 2022, the Israeli government approved plans to relocate the site by 2030, with removal of nearby oil tanks scheduled to begin this year.
