Shmuel does well in Jerusalem

Year 9 student Shmuel Eisenberg has represented Australia and Kesser Torah College, participating in the World Bible Quiz (Chidon HaTanach) in Jerusalem in which he came 14th.

Held on Israel’s 75th Independence Day, the Chidon Hatanach quiz is the culmination of a full year of unique, extensive learning, working to deepen the relationship with the Jewish Diaspora in promoting the love of Torah.

The event was broadcast live on National Israeli TV and streamed on YouTube globally.

Principal of Kesser Torah College, Rabbi Yaakov Chaiton said: “Shmuel’s representation of Australia at this prestigious event fills us with pride. His dedication to Torah study and achievements are an inspiration for all. Mazel Tov!”
