RU OK breakfast in Sydney

Over 60 Sydney community members attended the RU OK Day breakfast at JewishCare.

It was a poignant occasion with many attending having been impacted by suicide.

The scary statistic is that suicide numbers continue to increase despite greater resources being allocated to this massive community issue.

The Jewish Suicide Prevention Strategy (JSPS) which is coordinated by JewishCare, involves 20 community organisations working together to increase education about suicide and to provide effective approaches and training to engage with people who are vulnerable to suicide.
