Jewish House CEO Rabbi Mendel Kastel has been invited to join the board of The NSW Council of Social Service.

Rabbi Kastel says he is excited at the opportunity to have input in advocacy at this level for the community and those who need a voice to speak up for them

He said: “I am particularly happy to be working with its CEO Tracy Howe and the rest of the board to get better outcomes for the people of NSW.”

The NSW Council of Social Service (NCOSS) works with and for people experiencing poverty and disadvantage in NSW to make positive change in our communities.

As the peak body for health and community services in NSW for over 80 years NCOSS supports the sector to deliver crucial services that make a difference.

NCOSS works directly with communities to identify the challenges they face and solutions that will allow them to overcome those challenges.
