Leaders of the Liberal opposition in Victoria have slammed the usage of the word “Nazis” in the incumbent Labor party pre-election political bantering.

Premier Daniel Andrews wrote in a tweet, “Nazis, racists and bigots have no place in politics”.

The Herald Sun reports that Deputy Premier Jacinta Allan “questioned over her use of the word “nazi”, the Deputy Labor leader said her party stood by the use of the term.”

But the political ping-pong invoking extremism, ultra-religious groups, gay conversion therapy comes way behind the usage of “Nazis” in the mind of Deputy Leader of the Liberals David Southwick.

He said: “Premier Daniel Andrews must immediately order a cessation of Labor’s baseless, disgusting and vile Nazi slur campaign.

Pressed four times this afternoon, Deputy Premier Jacinta Allan was unable to identify a specific example of a so-called “Nazi” that we are preferencing.

Six Million Jews were killed in the Holocaust by the Nazis,

Premier Daniel Andrews and now Deputy Premier Jacinta Allan’s claims today are an insult to their memory, to their families, and to the Jewish community.

I am disgusted.”

The “Nazi” references were made by the Labor leaders in comments describing the Liberal opposition preferencing extremist parties.

AJA dr David Adler has been asked to come in sky news Rita panahi show

and give his thoughts on the labor nazi allegations

it’s almost comical if Pauline Hanson or some other conservative had used those words the whole Jewish community would be having a heart attack and demanding she or who ever be hung upside down
Funny how the AJN and Jewish communal leadership are very choosy who they get offended by
