They discuss the role AUJS continues to play in Jewish students’ on-campus lives and the additional responsibilities resulting from the aggressive anti-Israel and anti-Semitic protests that have occurred at most Australian universities post-October 7th, 2023. Jeremy also talks about the significance of the high-security ‘Safe’ rooms that have been established at some universities, and the importance of establishing and maintaining respectful dialogues with members of other university student bodies.
