Mike is very accomplished in every sphere, having represented in federal parliament (in an electorate twice the size of Israel!) served in the ADF where he rose to the rank of colonel, and concluded his military career as Director of Army Services. He has served in defence procurement and is an expert in military law and academia. He is an adjunct professor at the National Security Institute at the University of Canberra, where he contributes to government policy and national security courses. He also has a bigger Hebrew vocabulary than Sharon does!
