JNF Australia launches emergency response campaign
JNF Australia has launched an emergency response campaign to support frontline emergency services and communities in Israel affected by ongoing security threats.
The campaign will fund mobile firefighting command and control units, critical firefighting equipment and portable bomb shelters for communities exposed to missile attacks, fires, and other crises. It will also support rescue teams responding to emergencies on the ground.

JNF said speed and coordination are critical in national emergencies. The mobile units are designed to centralise real-time intelligence, link ground crews with aerial support, and coordinate with local authorities to enable faster and more effective responses.
Funding will also contribute to essential firefighting equipment, including protective gear, tools and communication systems, aimed at improving the safety and effectiveness of frontline teams.
As part of the campaign, portable bomb shelters will be installed in vulnerable locations, including parks, playgrounds, schoolyards and communal areas. The shelters are intended to provide immediate protection during missile attacks and ensure access to secure spaces for families, children and the elderly.
JNF said the shelters may also serve as points where families can access essential aid, household items and support during emergencies, particularly in communities without permanent shelter infrastructure.
The organisation said the campaign is intended to support emergency responders while providing immediate protection and assistance to families affected by ongoing conflict.
