Following news that at least 27 Australians were amongst those killed when Malaysia Airlines MH17 was shot down, the Embassy of Israel has offered its condolences to the victims’ families.
On behalf of the Government of the State of Israel, the Embassy of Israel in Canberra sends its sincerest condolences to the families of the 27 Australians passengers whose lives were tragically lost on Malaysia Airlines flight MH17. This is a devastating turn of events, one that brings great sorrow to the hearts of Australians and citizens the world over.

As the investigation into this disaster commences; should it be found that this was not an accident, may those who are responsible be brought to justice swiftly and without delay.
