Important message from the CSG
The NSW Jewish Board of Deputies and CSG NSW have been made aware of a planned pro-Palestine motorcycle convoy which may enter the Eastern Suburbs of Sydney after 5pm tomorrow evening, Saturday 11 November 2023.
We are liaising with NSW Police and understand that there will be a significant police presence throughout the Eastern Suburbs during the planned convoy.
At this stage, there is no intelligence to suggest any specific or direct threat to the NSW Jewish Community in relation this convoy; however, it is likely that they have chosen this location in order to be provocative.
If you witness this convoy, please do not engage with them.

While we understand news of this convoy may cause unease or distress leading into Shabbat, we felt it was important to notify you. The security and safety of our community is our number one priority. Through Operation Shelter, NSW Police high visibility policing operations have been put in place in the interest of public safety.
