Gala lunch raises $100,000 for Courage to Care

Courage to Care NSW held a gala Fundraising Lunch at Sydney’s QVB Tea Rooms yesterday.

The sold-out event attracted Peter and Yvonne Halas, Andrew and Taryn Boyasrksy, Ernie Friedlander, Anthony and Andy Halas, Richard and Naomi Balkin, Tom and Danielle Curtis, Tom Fleming, Professor Leo Radom and NSW B’nai B’rith President Janine Zimbler, amongst many others.

Guest speakers included Dr Simon Longstaff, Executive Director of The Ethics Centre, and acclaimed author Heather Morris (The Tattooist of Auschwitz, Cilka’s Journey, Three Sisters).

The fundraising lunch raised almost $100,000 to support Courage to Care’s education and exhibition programs.

Courage to Care reaches communities across Australia carrying the lessons and stories of the Holocaust.
