The evening began with a video message from Henry Roth, one of the advertised panellists,  who was unable to attend. His moving message received a round of applause.

Eva Scheinberg, the moderator introduced  panellists, Max Markson, Deborah Thomas, Kerri Sackville and in the absence of Joann Weinberg, her close friend and South African socialite  ‘Mona Minute’.

The discussion focused on the question of ‘Does what you wear make you who you are?’ There were some very interesting and thought provoking statements made by various members of the panel and also many comments which provoked much laughter throughout the night. Mona Minute was of the opinion that cosmetic surgery is a wonderful option for retaining youthful  looks and she made mention of her recent ‘Botox Safari’ to Africa.

A spokesperson for the museum told J-Wire: “We were packed beyond capacity with some members of the audience having to stand!”
