Ros Fischl has finally received her bronze medal won at the 18th Maccabiah in Israel in July.

The immediate past president of Sydney’s Great Synagogue left Israel on the medal presentation day before the ceremonies began.
But last night, at a reunion for Sydney members of the Australian delegation, team mate Barbara Cohen proudly placed the medal around Ros’s neck.
Ros told J-Wire: “‘ve been travelling a fair bit recently and this is the first opportunity I have had to meet up with Barbara who brought the medal home from Israel for me. It’s a wonderful feeling to have it at last.”
Ros won the Bronze for the Women’s Golf Masters Teams event.
