  1. Richard Pilcher says:

Why is South Africa not embracing extremely successful early home treatments for Covid-19 when incredible progress has been achieved with a cocktail of common cheaper drugs with next to no side-effects that are available in all countries.
Approx. 4 months ago a prominent Australian Dr Thomas Borody proposed an ivermectin-based triple therapy regimen (ivermectin, doxycycline and zinc) as an early treatment for COVID-19. He said that Covid-19 is surprisingly easy to cure provided you treat it early. As an aside Dr Borody developed the first therapy to cure peptic ulcers that has become the gold standard treatment globally.
Recently a Covid-19 Treatment Guideline was produced by the The Association of American Physicians and Surgeons. Page 19 of the Guideline provides a summary protocol for early treatment options (an ivermectin-based triple therapy is provided as an option).

The ivermectin-based therapy is emerging as the front runner. Pierre Kory MD addressed this at the 2nd US Senate Hearing on Outpatient Treatment.

A number of countries have introduced home treatment Covid-19 kits, in particular India, rather than waiting for a vaccine.

Why is South Africa not following India’s example?

  2. Jane Klein says:

    Hi Prof Schoub,
First of all thanks for all your help to the Jewish Community with the Corona virus. I would like to ask if you have any idea when the residents of OPH and Snadringham will be able to receive visitors or make visits to family and friends.
    Thank you
    Jane Klein
