Ten lucky mothers recently attended   Our Big Kitchen for a private cooking demonstration led by Chef John Mulligan of L’amor Catering who offered them exciting and refreshing new ideas for their Rosh Ha’shana dinner.

Tastes good

Chef Mulligan shared his magical recipes and special tips from how to cure salmon to making homemade nougat. “Finally I can surprise my family with something other than honey soy chicken” said Deborah Bauer from Bellevue Hill. We ate and drank the evening away and went home with all the recipes along with a delicious nougat as a babysitting payment for the husbands.

We hope to offer these kinds of events around the high holidays in the years to come.

Stay tuned for our next event – Facing the future (11th of Nov) – offering the Mums a beauty and cosmetics workshop, as well some tips on how to instill a sense of Zionist pride at home among the little ones.
