Sydney’s Montefiore Home has been presented with a Better Practice Award for the  Australian Aged Care Quality Agency Nurse Practitioner Program.

The award was handed to Ann Brodie, General Manager Clinical Services and Joanne Russell, Nurse Practitioner by Nick Nick Ryan CEO of theAgency.

He praised Montefiore as being ‘a highly regarded organisation in the aged care industry,’ and the Nurse Practitioner Program for being ‘a genuine case of leading innovation in residential aged care.’

The presentation included a cocktail reception prepared by the Montefiore’s Hotel Services Department and  attended by Montefiore’s Board of Management President, David Freeman, Treasurer, Tom Mautner and his wife, Rose; and fellow Board Members Barry Joseph and Lisa Brender.  Also in attendance was Robert Orie, CEO who opened the evening’s proceedings and Montefiore senior staff members.
