The National Council of Jewish Women of Australia's Celebrating Israel 2015 event entitled “Point of No Return” will be dedicated to the plight of Jewish Holocaust survivors from Europe and the Jewish refugees expelled from Arab countries prior and post the ‘Partition Plan’.
Panelists debating on "The Partition Plan - The Great Divide" held recently at the NCJWA Celebrating Israel 2012 agreed that we would have reached a solution to the Middle East problem if women had been involved in the negotiations.
Human Rights activists and Israel Advocacy experts will debate the topic “The Partition Plan – The Great Divide” which will be the key feature of NSW NCJWA’s Celebrating Israel 2012 event as we mark the 65th Anniversary of the adoption of the Partition Plan (resolution 181) by United Nations General Assembly, on 29 November 1947.
Celebrating Israel 2011 was hosted by the NCJWA NSW Division and ZCNSW marking the passing of Resolution 181 by the UN General Assembly on 29 November 1947, which called for the establishment of a Jewish State alongside an Arab State in the historical land of Israel, leading to the establishment of the State of Israel.
