This morning in Wellington Ambassador Ran Yaakoby cast the 1st vote in the world for the 24th Knesset.

Ambassador Ran Yaakoby casts the first vote

99 Israeli embassies and consulates across the globe will open their doors to around 4,000 eligible voters, with polling stations opening for the very first time in Morocco, Dubai and Abu Dhabi.

The Israeli election will be held onMarch 23.
