UIA NSW recently held its annual Gala Campaign: Stars of David with guests of honour Rachel Goldberg-Polin and Jon Polin.
Nearly 2,500 community members attended the event in support of the People of Israel.
Attendees also heard from Miri Ben Shitrit, a mentor at the UIA-supported Youth Futures project, the official national program supporting youth at risk across all of Israel, as well as the Lev-Ofir Choir, a children’s choir of Ethiopian Olim from the Ibim Absorption Centre who had to evacuate their homes with the onset of the war.
