Visitors to the Sydney Jewish Museum were recently invited to step into the future.

Over a series of preview events, members of the Sydney community donned hard hats and toured the new museum’s building site, guided by museum president Greg Shand, staff and volunteers eager to share what’s ahead. The guests also saw previews of some of the museum’s state-of-the-art exhibitions.

The expansion will double the museum’s capacity, creating a space not only to preserve Holocaust memory but also to explore Jewish life and culture in contemporary Australia.
