Peter Strasser says
It is a disgrace to proceed with criminal proceedings against the Prime Minister while, as head of government, he is effectively in charge of Israel’s war against several deadly adversaries.
Surely the circumstances demand that he devotes his entire time, energy and intense focus on every element of this now 2-year war. A serious distraction in having to defend these complex charges is likely to have a detrimental impact on the conduct of the war with severe consequences to National security and the cost of Israeli lives.
The proceedings must be suspended until the end of hostilities; their continuation in these circumstances is treacherous, and those responsible should be condemned.
