On Sunday, StandWithUs has organised a counter demonstration at Bondi Beach as pro-Palestine supporters gather at the iconic spot situated in the heart of Sydney’s Jewish community.

The organisation has issued the following statement:
We will stand united against a protest that supports terror and hate in the heart of our Jewish community.
This is not a call for peace — It is provocation, and it cannot go unanswered.
But we will not answer hate with hate.
We will not be provoked.
We will not mirror their darkness.
Instead, we will respond in the way our community always has — with light, song, and unity.
Solidarity with Gaza organised by Jews for Palestine
Join us as we gather at Bondi Beach to stand together in:
Stand against intimidation, harassment, and intentional provocation
✨Support for our Jewish community in Sydney
Support for Israel’s right to exist in peace and security
Support for the hostages still held in Gaza
Sunday, 7 September
9:30am – meeting time
Bondi Beach – meeting point to be advised
This is not a protest. This is not confrontation.
This is us — proudly standing together to show who we are: a community that will never be silenced, never be intimidated, and will always choose light over darkness.
Bring your voices. Bring your hearts. Bring your flags.
Please register so we can share the muster point details and any other important information with you.

  1. James Smith says:

Let the pestilence of Iran led international jihadism stay at Lakemba and the other infected western Sydney suburbs with the terrorists where it belongs. Not at Bondi Beach.
