Mortars found in Gaza hidden in UN Relief Agency’s aid bags
During an operation by the IDF’s 7th Armoured Brigade to clear the Yellow Line ceasefire area in southern Gaza, approximately 110 mortar shells hidden in UNRWA (UN Relief Works Agency) humanitarian aid bags were located.

IDF forces found a Hamas weapons stash hidden inside UNRWA bags just 80 meters from a school and 100 meters from a hospital in Rafah, October 27, 2025
The operation was carried out to clear the area of above-ground and underground terrorist infrastructure and weapons of terrorist organisations in the Strip.
Israel banned UNRWA, which worked in Gaza, from operating in the country after it was proven that some of its own employees were Hamas terrorists who took part in the October 7 massacre. The Israeli government recently dismantled UNRWA’s Jerusalem offices.
The Yellow Line marks the areas where Israeli forces are continuing to operate under the Gaza ceasefire agreement: Israel controls everything to the east, north and south of the line and Hamas and other terrorists are prohibited from crossing it.
