Israel’s government banned from UK defence exhibition
The British government has announced unilateral restrictions banning official participation from Israeli government and military representatives at the upcoming DSEI UK 2025 exhibition.

This event is set to take place in London from September 9 to 12.
Critics are calling these restrictions a blatant and unfortunate act of discrimination against Israel, prompting the Israel Ministry of Defense (IMOD) to withdraw from the exhibition and forego its national pavilion.
However, Israeli industries that choose to take part will reportedly receive full backing from the Ministry.
This decision from Britain comes at a time when Israel is engaged in serious battles against Islamist extremists and terrorist organizations—threats that also target the West and international shipping routes.
Analysts warn that such a decision may embolden extremists, lend legitimacy to terrorism, and introduce inappropriate political considerations into what should be a professional defense industry showcase.
Defence and Security Equipment International is a biennial trade exhibition that serves as a major international forum for governments, armed forces, academia, and the defence and security industries to meet, showcase equipment, and discuss challenges and developments across all operational domains, including air, space, land, naval, and cyber.
This follows a ban by the Dutch.
