Stories on two fronts.

Israel Air Force Strikes Headquarters and Bases of Iran’s Internal Security Forces

The Israel Air Force said it completed a wave of strikes against the headquarters and bases of the Internal Security Forces and the Iranian Ministry in Tehran, which were guided by Military Intelligence.

The IDF (Israel Defence Forces) said the Internal Security Forces are subordinate to the Iranian terrorist regime and responsible for suppressing protests against the regime, including through the use of violence and the arrest of civilians.

“The strike on these bases deepens the damage to the regime’s suppression capabilities,” it said.

In addition, the IDF struck more than 10 headquarters of the Iranian Ministry, the central intelligence body of the terrorist regime, and the headquarters of the “Quds Force” terrorist unit. The strikes targeted headquarters where Military Intelligence identified activity by regime soldiers.

Alongside this, the Air Force continued to strike ground-to-ground missile launchers, sites used to produce weaponry for Iranian forces, as well as additional sites of the Revolutionary Guards.

Israel Air Force Completes Three Additional Waves Aimed at Destroying Iran’s Missile Launching Capabilities

The Israel Air Force, on Monday night, completed three additional waves of strikes in western Iran, hitting the missile fire arrays of the Iranian regime and deepening the IDF’s (Israel Defence Forces) air superiority over Iran.

As part of the strikes, the Air Force dropped hundreds of munitions toward dozens of missile launchers, defence systems, and additional fire arrays that were in use by the Iranian terror regime.

The Air Force has thus far completed, since Operation “Roaring Lion” against Iran Saturday morning, dozens of strikes against the Iranian regime’s ballistic missile array and defence systems, in order to reduce as much as possible Iran’s ability to fire missiles toward the State of Israel.

Israeli Strikes Target Key Player in Hezbollah’s Financial Empire

Israel completed a series of strikes in Lebanon against assets of the Al-Qarch Al-Hassan Association, a key player in Hezbollah’s financial empire, the Israel Defence Forces announced on Monday.

The Al-Qarch Al-Hassan Association (AQHA), associated with terror funding and money laundering, has been used to funnel money to Hezbollah for years, the IDF said.

“The association uses the citizens’ money transferred through it to provide financial services to the terrorist organization Hezbollah and its terrorists for terrorist purposes,” the military said in a statement.

In comments to The Press Service of Israel after Israel struck 20 AQHA branches in 2024, a senior figure in the Israeli intelligence community described AQHA as “one of the largest centers of economic power for the Iranian proxy.”

She also suggested that its competition with the Lebanese banking sector contributed to the country’s economic instability, while Hezbollah benefited from a parallel, unregulated financial system.

This network is based on the Al-Qarch Al-Hassan Association, through which Hezbollah deposits and stores funds, manages salary payments and even makes money transfers from Iran.

“For years, the residents of Lebanon have been in an economic and humanitarian crisis that is being exploited by the terrorist organization Hezbollah. The organization is exacerbating the crisis of the residents of Lebanon and exploiting their weak position in the shadow of the crisis in order to expand the dependence of the citizens of Lebanon and strengthen its military presence,” the IDF said.

Established in 1982, AQHA expanded significantly to 34 branches against the backdrop of Lebanon’s economic crisis. It specialises in providing microloans to Lebanon’s Shiite community, which predominantly supports Hezbollah. These loans serve various needs, from wedding expenses to agricultural development and solar energy farms.

By further financing hospitals, schools, housing and other Hezbollah social services in areas where traditional banking services are inaccessible or distrusted, AQHA bolstered Hezbollah’s ability to act as a “state within a state.”

The U.S. Treasury Department sanctioned AQHA in 2007.

The IDF began attacking Hezbollah in Lebanon after the Iran-backed terror group fired three rockets in the direction of Haifa in the early morning hours. It was Hezbollah’s first rocket attack since a November 2024 ceasefire took effect.

Hezbollah claimed responsibility for the overnight rocket fire, calling it “revenge for the blood of the Supreme Leader of the Muslims, Ali Khamenei.” Khamenei was assassinated in an Israeli airstrike on Tehran on Saturday. Hezbollah said it targeted a missile defense site in the Haifa area as a “warning” to Israel.

Israeli Military Strikes 70 Hezbollah Terror Sites in Lebanon

The IDF (Israel Defence Forces) recently completed what it called a “large-scale wave of strikes” targeting the infrastructure of the Hezbollah terror group in southern Lebanon, during which over 70 targets of the organisation were attacked, including weapon storage facilities, missile launch positions, and launchers across multiple areas.

The targets that were attacked were intended to be used by the terror group to advance and carry out various terror plots against IDF forces and civilians of the State of Israel.

Prior to the strike, measures were taken to reduce the risk of harm to civilians, including advance warnings, use of precision munitions, and aerial observations.

“The Hezbollah terror group chose to join the Iranian terror regime and will bear the consequences of the strike against the State of Israel,” said the IDF.
