Hamas refuses to return Hadar Goldin’s remains, makes new demands
The Israeli government said Sunday morning that Hamas refuses to release the remains of the deceased IDF (Israel Defence Forces) soldier Hadar Goldin, even though it claimed to have found them, and demands separate negotiations on the matter.

Israel has refused Hamas’ demands, saying that Hamas already signed an agreement that includes, among other things, Goldin’s release.
“Israel views with great severity the violation (of the ceasefire) by delaying the return of the hostage Hadar Goldin, whom Hamas claims is in its custody,” said a government official. “Israel demands his immediate return.”
Hamas recently reported that it had uncovered Goldin’s body.
