The Great Synagogue, Sydney is seeking the services of an office person with high quality office and communication skills.

Events Management and General Office Duties

Applicants must have good English language skills, solid experience with Microsoft Office, Data systems and Graphics Software and should have a background in an administrative role.

Knowledge of Jewish rituals and calendar a definite advantage.

Reporting directly to the General Manager within a small team dedicated to the efficient administration of one of Australia’s oldest and most prestigious synagogues.

This is a full-time fixed term position that will involve taking over from an existing staff member during Parental Leave from 1 December 2017 to mid January 2019. Full training will be provided in the administration of a growing congregation at this recently renovated Castlereagh Street synagogue office.

The salary package to be paid will be commensurate with experience and by negotiation.
