you are correct, the comments made by Malcolm were not Israel specific.
I sensed however that members of our community may have drawn the inference that Malcolm was not overly concerned as to the threat the terrorists groups like ISIS posed to Israel and the world.
I apologize for my lack of clarity.

With respect my article dealt with the threat Islamic State poses to world order and security – and will continue to do so – until a Security Council resolution is passed authorising military action by a United Nations force.

Mr Turnbull’s address had little to do with Israel but a lot to do with the threat faced by the world community from Islamic State and its rapidly growing band of terrorist allegiance-pledgers.

it may be an idea for those in the leadership of the Jewish Community, who know him well, to dialogue with him on the issues in private.
He like the PM are friends, we should not allow our well founded concerns for the wellbeing of Israel to create unnecessary alarm.
I feel confident Malcolm will adjust his public pronouncements on the issues in the future to the satisfaction of the community.

If it waddles like a duck, looks like a duck and quacks like a duck guess what its a DUCK you goose. David Cameron the British PM have said not to use the tag IS or Islamic State, a BBC spokesperson has said they will still use IS and / or Islamic State when referring to the terror group, all because they don’t want to harm the silence majority (of muslims) This group is like cancer they are doing it by stealth and on many / most occasions using brute animal force. Politicians need to WAKE UP
