17-yr-old New Zealander Ylia Trotter has produced a video campaigning against the BDS movement. He is not Jewish and is of Maori descent.

Auckland-based Ylia and his family are Christians. His parents Perry and Sheree Trotter created Shadows of Shoah, a demountable Holocaust exhibition and founded Middle East Voices, an independent platform for credible voices ignored by much of mainstream media.
Ylia Trotter told J-Wire: “I’ve been always been aware that Israel is badly misrepresented in the media and I suspected that the claims of the BDS movement may be largely unfounded. When I heard about a BDS protest happening nearby I decided to grab my camera and see what was going on. Filmmaking is a hobby of mine and I’m beginning to work as a wedding videographer, so I did a little investigation with the material I captured and put this video together.

Note that it takes a person of faith (in this case a Christian) to have the insight to expose BDS for what it is in contrast to some of our own ‘self hating’ brethren such as AJDS who play the role of useful idiots defending this BDS lunacy.

    Hi Ylia,

Your courage and passion for the truth are truly outstanding in the context of this terrifying hatred, which is indeed reminiscent of Nazi Germany.

    Good on Ylia
If you want to visit Israel let me know and I will facilitate a ticket to travel there.Let me know…Yosi Tal

    Great job Ilia! Kol hakovot!

Congratulations on your video presentation, Ylia, extremely professional in every way, and a voice of fairness and reason in what is now a chaotic climate of hatred and unreasonableness regarding Israel. I see you have intent to be a wedding videographer.
I would suggest to you that your talent, most especially your calm, measured delivery of information in the voice-over as well as in your requests put to demonstrators to film at the demonstration, would be well suited to video/film journalism. You may well have a future there if you wanted to pursue it. I am thinking of the BBC journalist Louis Theroux, so well known for his mildly-mannered, polite, but extremely successful investigative journalism. Well done, and thank you.

Thank you Ylia for having the courage to do this. I too believe the BDS movement is a part of “something else” and we all must try to make our stand against it and in support of Israel no matter how small our efforts may be.

    Thank you Ylia.

    Fantastic work.

Facts in the face of targeted lies, fantasy, and blood libels.

I think much of it is “something else.”
