What is the content of Danby’s message? There is no doubt about the massacres and no one is opposing the expulsion of the diplomats, not the correspondents named, so far as I know. Unlie Israel, Syria does not have a lobby of Australian citizens in Parliament serving its propoganda purposes and no one has raised a cry of “anti-Arabism” against the decision.. Australians are campaigning against Assad and demanding he stop the killings – perhaps you are not aware of the campaigns.
By the way I understand there are some rules about postings “Anti-semite” is probably not among them.

MIchael you should also be asking where are all the usual Jewish Israel bashers the lefty Human rights lawyers, Academics , journalists etc who cant write enough letters, sign enough petitions join Palestinian lobby groups in criticizing Israels every move, haven’t heard one bleep out of any of these hypocrites about Syria….

Danby is probably not aware of the Anti-Assad rallies being held in Australia. And Israel is a flourishing democracy – increasingly fascist actually – only for the Askhenazi Jews. Mizrachi aare second class, African Jews lower and Palestinins the lowest. Danby is usingg Assad’s crimes to jusify israel’s behaviour, he is well aware that Jewish settlers in the West Bank live under civil rule while the Palestinins live under military rule.
