And an article well written. These Israeli Arabs are in such a difficult position and after reading this its patently obvious that peace for them will never be dependent upon Israel. On the one hand they know, implicitly, that financially they will never be better off. On the other, in their own way, each summed up perfectly: No elections and therefore no help in any direction from their own ilk. Nepotism and a hatred of the Jews of Israel wins the day. Israel CANNOT help them to become their own “peaceful nation”, and Jerusalem has NOTHING at all to do with peace. The man with the “blue card” said it all. “Bibi’s a good man. Smart. Successful once again. And now lets just get on with eating felafel”. I might just take him up on his offer! We can’t find a good felafel anywhere around here in Perth, Western Australia!
