There are many, many American Jews who identify as such, but still promote antisemitism, and who are in fact afflicted by the very moral imbecility of which Melanie Phillips speaks. They have a long history of Democratic party support and need to realise that the Democrats are fast becoming a replica of Jeremy Corbyn’s Labour Party in Britain – no friends to the Jewish people.
