Another good article Emily, I urge the ZFA not to take sides in the US elections such as many of our Jewish organizations are currently doing and claiming to speak for the so called majority of so called main stream Jewish community . As we have all witnessed in the recent US elections the silent majority are alive and well so don’t sell them short .
Also to stop the Jewish progressive and Alt leftist incessant name calling racist , Bigot and anti- Semite so over used and becoming boring. It is quite obvious watching the protestors in US and here who are the fascists and bigots and which side has not accepted loosing the elections.
For what it is worth I consider my self part of the mainstream Jewish community
[ take note JCCV/ECAJ ] and I agree with Donald Trumps views on Immigration and his Foreign Policy . I only wish our government here would adopt the same attitude as Donald Trump along with and his cabinet members so far vis-à-vis Foreign policy /Immigration.
I have just now finished an extended interview [ to go to air 6th December on Nothing Left J- Air Radio ] with the Director of the ZOA Zionist Organization of America Daniel Mandel who agrees with the Israeli Ambassador to Israel Ron Dermer, Isi Leibler, staunch Democrats Rabbi Shmulley Boteach & Alan Dershowtiz ,President of the ZOA Mort Klein and Jewish Human rights activist Pamella Gellar that Steve Bannon is not a anti- Semite full stop . All these prominent Jews would not go out on a limb for Steve Bannon if they were in doubt.
Obama had many Muslim Brotherhood friends , Hillary Clinton kissed on the cheek a card carrying KKK member and a KKK recruiter the late Robert Byrd and highly praised Byrd as a good human being [ sure ] .She had as her advisers and close friends the most notorious anti- Zionist Jews the Blumenthal father and Son team and the highly controversial Huma Aberdin who allegedly has family connections to the Muslim Brotherhood and other dodgy Islamists.However I don not consider Obama or Clinton anti Semites because of who they keep company with.
The deadly silence from Trump critics over who Obama and Clintons supporters are is astonishing but predictable. Trump has 4 years to prove himself if he is not able to fix up a broken country and bring it back to where it was prior to the Obama/ Clinton failed administration either his own Republican party or Americans will vote him out .

Well Emily The Don has condemned that alt right conference in his interview with the New York Times. he did it in plain simple English.
I worked for Rob Muldoon in1974/5, Observed Begin’s win in 1977 and worked for Margret Thatcher in 1978.
It was plain to see the similarities between those 3 elections and Trump’s win. In New Zealand We talked about Rob’s Mob. Today its Trump’s movement. If you did not like Muldoon you won’t like Trump. Trump has a orthodox new York Jew for a Son in Law. Forget Steve Brannon he is a somebody of no long term importance. Trump is not a supporter of globalization. he grew up on building sites with his father. he is a working man’s man. He prefers to shake a man’s hand who is not wearing a tie or suit. How many prime ministers or presidents elect thank the secret service staff in there exceptance speech. Trump did. Why could you not see he was going to win last year as I did. happy to continue this debate else where.

I am an American Jew living in Australia. Like many American Jews and other Americans I appreciate the degree of separation of religion and state in the United States and the fact that many in various governments have tried to create a country where the government does not discriminate among its citizens on the basis of ethnicity or religion. A Jew has a real hope of becoming president of the United States, and one ran for the office of vice-president on a major party ticket. Israel does not have such a separation, does not even have civil marriage and a non-Jew has no hope of becoming prime minister of Israel. Considering those differences between Israel and the United States I cannot in good conscience support Israel or any other state based on ethnic nationalism.
