It is certainly so that Ukraine has a dark history of willing collaboration with the Nazis in the murder of the Jewish people. Unfortunately, the same can be said for other European countries as well, including France.

What exactly did Zelensky say about Ukrainian solidarity with the Jews during that time? Were there Ukrainians who did support Jews against the Nazis? His exact words, I think, are important, and I’m sorry to say I’ve forgotten them at this point.

As to Zelensky being a modern day Winston Churchill, I don’t think we can take that plaudit away from him. His performance has been multifaceted, and magnificent in consistency.

It should be remembered that Ukrainian collaborators with the German invaders and murderers during WWII killed 1.6 million totally innocent Jewish men, women and children for one reason only,they were Jews. It should also be remembered that that Pogroms against Jews took place during the thousand year history of the Ukraine,that Russia was founded in the Ukraine and that eye witness accounts of the Pogroms in the Ukraine after WWI reported that Ukrainians killed Jews with obscene enthusiasm,
