I agree with Erica’s comments, and think the problem lies with the increasing incapacity of more public spokespeople, whether Jewish or not, to be anything other than politically correct, as well as allow a kind of sentimentality to wash over the realities and different truths beneath the face of things. That so-called world leaders do it as well is astonishing. Most certainly, Jewish leaders and speakers are letting us down badly in this area. We need more people with the courage of Isi Liebler to say it as it is.

Once again Isi, you have an intimate understanding of the status quo – and once again I am disgusted and nauseous at the prospect that unless and until our not so illustrious and supposedly powerful and influential world leaders wake from their parochial and inert slumber we are a doomed democracy. Blind Freddy is able to see the writing on the weakened walls of our precious peaceful democracies. Surely just ONE clever and insightful leader will be able to prevent a major world catastrophe ! Surely we are not that stupid! Thank you again Isi for continuing to prod the unproductive ! Long may you lay awake at night developing global strategies with which to help save our planet from itself!
