With South Africa’s history, it has always astonished me that their continuing attitude toward Israel, with accusations of apartheid and now genocide, is so relentlessly virulent. One would think that the knowledge of Jewish origins of place and the long persecution of Jewish people, would strike a chord of identification, but it doesn’t.
Are they perhaps under the wrong impression that all Jews are white? Is that it? Possibly. They’re setting up a black vs. white scenario. In any case, South Africa is a pain in the neck and what they are doing with this action at the International Court of Justice is abominable.
