Offend and insult are subjective. Too many people claim offense and pretend to be insulted to silence others; cases in point are the complaints about Leak and the silencing of debate on same sex marriage by the same out and proud mob that demands safe spaces for their delicate little souls.

The worst aspect of 18C is the gutlessness of Jewish leaders. We – you included – should long ago have taken Ismail al Wahwah to court and now Youseff Hassan should be hauled before the AHRC. But he won’t be by our professional Jews who will sacrifice anything to build bridges to mohammedans and thus show how tolerant and how oh so progressive Jews are.

Any law which is loosely defined is bad. Any law that is selectively applied is a hazard. good legal minds playing politics are a menace. 18C must be changed!
