Ben,
we find ourselves in an emotionally charged time, feelings are running high, which is to be fully expected.
Grave mistakes were made, many I sense unintentionally, although that does not mitigate there very negative effect.
Most Rabbis of Chabad are doing sterling work, they should be supported, those who erred will I believe make the appropriate self reckoning and take measures to avoid the repetition of past mistakes and move forward in a positive manner.

Chabad Lubavitch is a dynamic force throughout the world, this will continue with G-d’s help.
Unfortunately, the recent Royal Commission has highlighted the failings in judgment by a number of Rabbis.
I believe many painful lessons have been learned and action has and is being taken to ensure that the lapses of the past do not reoccur.
The victims of sexual abuse must be believed and full supported with kindness and empathy, their families need to be drawn close and supported.
The perpetrators need to be dealt with through the courts of the land and sentenced to the maximum periods of incarceration the statutes of the state permit.
May the victims be given succor and comfort by Almighty G-d.
